Solo just loped into the lands the breeze blowing harder than normal causing the dirt to make a little dust devil and cause the dirt to slpash againest the brutes pelt. He quickly lead the stag through the ocean of sand and then suddenly a it fell dark as they entered into the wall. A dim light was all that could be seen and the nsuddenly a few mintues after trying to see in the dim lighted cavern a whole new place was thrown upon them. Solo just trotted in and went over to the stream to which was close by and took a few drinks out of it before lifting his crow nand looking back to Phoienx to make sure he got in alright.
His ribbon flicked his flanks His nares flared as he let his crown drop and he grazed a bit on the lush grass waiting for the stag to make a comment. His sides heaved in and out as his breathing steadied and his blood boiled. He wasn't all to comfortable with having the bastard here, but that was the reason why he brought him here. Solo needed to get trusting around other stallions. So Phoienx how do you like it Solo just waited patiently for the little stag to answer. Well Phoienx I am hoping that I can trust you since you will probably be my Beta Solo came out with the truth.
ooc// Ok I promise soon I will get tons more muse.

Phoenix nodded his head, "Yes I like it. I will help you gather more mares and stallions. Is it ok if from now on I go to the meadow alone to get the horses so that way you can spend your time here marking the territory and turn away any rouge stallions that try to make their way onto your territory that haven't been invited." All Phoenix was trying to do was to do was help Solo out by getting the horses while he did the territory. "I'm just giving a suggestion. I'm not trying to challenge you." Phoenix hoped that his outburst about going to get the furture herd members wasn't considered a challenge to his new leader. That was all Phoenix wanted was to be kicked out of the herd on the first day of being there because he had been too out spoken. When he heard Solo say he may be Beta Stallion he was surprised. He shrugged it off in case the Beta position was given to another stallion that joined up later.
The stallion looked around the beautiful territory and really loved it. Phoenix would do all he could to make it thrive and prosper. He closed his eyes and thought about Solo's future mate. A beautiful mare would do for him and a good-looking mare for himself. He visioned Solo's herd growing strong and big. He saw all the foals that would be born and their mothers suckling them. He smiled at the thought. He then opened his eyes and said, "I'm sure that this herd will be big and strong one day Solo and I want to help make it that way and to keep it that way." He waited for the older stallion to answer.

That is fine as long as you don't lead them on that you are the Roi of this land. Though I will go to the meadoews myself sometimes Solo said. It was true he wanted to go to the meadows and meet new equines that would possibly be joinning his herd. Though he didn't mind Phoienx's idea. Solo just stomped his front piston and lowered his maw to the ground and started to chew on the emerald stalks. Solo still remembered her elegant apperence.
She was a creamy paint though he only got a galence he wanted to go and meet this little femme. Solo wanted to talk with this femme and bring her here himself. That he would it didn't matter what Phoienx said since he was only a beta. But his idea was great. Solo still did like to meet equines without already having them apart of his herd.

Phoenix trotted away from Solo for a little ways and then he laid down. The stallion was exhausted and he wanted to sleep for a little bit. He closed his eyes and had a dreamless and restful sleep. He curled up closer and his even breath was the only sound of his being still alive. As he slept flies flew around him and landed gently. Phoenix flicked his muscles to get rid of the flies. The flies flew away for a few seconds and then settled back on Phoenix. The stallion woke up and trotted over to the shade of a tree and fell asleep. Soon the flies left him alone and Phoenix was able to sleep without worrying about the annoying bugs.

Solo just walked towards the stallion as he walked off and tried to sleep. Solo just flickered his thorns and nibbled at the grass as he took slow steps as he ate. His ebony ribbon flicked at his spottless flanks. Feathers danced along his coal daggers as he took slow steps. Easily stepping over the stream he kept on going chewing quietly and fianlly the bastard went over to a tree on the over side of the lake and just laid down. He nibbled absent mindedly as his pools drooped shut and he fianlly drifted off to a even breathed sleep. Though a dream came it was the same every night. He had no clue why he kept this dream aand it kept cominf back. Though the terrain was dark and the willow trees were every where and moss clung to their branches. A thick dense mist was spread out and then there was Solo. The nsuddenly loping in and out of the scene. Her hide painted albino and creamed stood out easily as her banner and ribbon fluttered behind her. She got farther and farther away.
Solo just took to a canter and then followed the vox on and on. For what seemed forever until suddenly he was dropping. He looked up to see her blue eyes glittered and her tune was laughing as he called out for help as he fell. But he wouldn't stop falling then suddenly he looked down and just as he was about to hit hte rocky hills a jolt caused his crown to fly up and shook him awake. His heartbeat was fast and he was sweating. Out of breath quietly Solo tried to calm himself down, but little worked. Solo then just sighed and let her crown rest againest his side as he shut his pools and drifcted off t oa peaceful dreamless sleep....

Phoenix heard Solo trying to calm down and he went over to him. "It's ok Solo. There's nothing to be afraid of. I will keep gaurd for awhile." The stallion found a ledge and jumped up onto it. He kept an eye out for danger and waited for sunrise to approach so either Phoenix or Solo could find another horse wanting to be in a herd. He thought about his friend Secret. He wondered what the other stallion was doing. Was he part of a herd or was he dead? He shook his head and made his mane fly around him.
Phoenix yawned. He may be tired, but keeping the small herd safe was more important than his health. He yawned again and looked around once more. So far there was no danger, but who knew what dangers there were here? Phoenix had to make sure that he was very observant for danger or else he would either die or be kicked out for not paying attention. He looked at Solo again and knew something was making him like this, but it was Solo's personal business. If Solo wanted to tell him what was wrong then that was his business. Phoenix would stay out of the way of Solo's past if that was what was bothering him. Phoenix remembered his friend's past. Secret had had a bad childhood and hadn't trusted any horse for awhile. It took a long time before Secret trusted him with his childhood secret.

Though as the stag said there was nothing to be scared of. It wasn't really that he was scared, but he couldn't believe that, that femme would do that without knowing him and that is why he had to know. He had to find her and talk to her himself. Not Phoenix, but Solo needed to talk to her and settle his nightmares. Why would he have nightmares about a Colombe that might not even be a high ranked colombe for all he knew she might not even join his herd. Well he really couldn't call this a herd with only two members and them both being brutes. But hey atleast it was a start. Solo just shook his crown and looked up towards Phoenix. One thing plagued his mind as he watched Phoenix stand there so proud looking. No it didn'tbug Solo how he stood he had a right he was the Beta after all. No it was the fact that Solo's heir would be the Roi when he himself died not Phoenix. What would happen then?
Would there be a posion spread throughout the herd. Spreading until it killed the whole herd off. Would this stallion cause that once Solo passed? Solo didn't want that to happen and hoped it wouldn't. He hoped Phoenix would live up to his words even if Solo passed. Because if he was going to challenge the Heir then he would kill this herd. Followers would leave with the heir and others would stay, but eventually would kill them all. Solo would never want that to happen, but once he passed on there was nothing he could do, but hope. That Phoenix wouldn't be like others who challenged the young heir into a battle that they knew they would win hands down.
If he was going to challenge the Heir Solo hoped that he would atleast give the Prince or Princess a chance to grow and mature and have a chance to actually fight and maybe win. Sol9 just shook this thoughts from his mind as he stood up. Why would such a thing even be thought about his own Beta? Well it was something the Solo did with every brute. Though rarely he would do it with a fae. But not to often. Solo just watched Phoenix for a minute before lowering his crown to nibble at the emerald stalks.

Phoenix saw Solo eat the grass and then joined him. "Are you ok Solo? You were having some kind of dream and so I decided to keep watch until you woke up. I hope I did ok by keeping watch." Phoenix didn't want to get on Solo's bad side and get killed or kicked out. He tilted his head to the side like he was trying to shake water of his ear.
Phoenix looked to the sky and saw that it was getting light out. He sighed. When your asleep everything seems to go fast. He shook his head clear of any sleep and concentrated waking up and looking forward to the new day. He turned back to Solo and felt proud that he had been named Beta Stallion.

Solo's crest rose as he looked to the palomino. Don't worry yourself everything is alright Solo said quietly as he lightly nudged the stags shoulder. You did fine it seems no enemy is here Solo said with a small smile plastered to his maw. Thorns flickered as he lowered his maw to the sweet grass. Banner sliding down to cover part of his face the stallion just took a step or two as he continued to graze peacefully.
Pelt twitched slightly as the flies started to come out of their sleep. Ribbo nflicking his flanks every so often the stag just let his nares flare and a sneeze into the silence. Followed by a snort his crown rose and he shook his crest. Nape following suit causing his ebony banner to thrash around wildly. A little sigh escaped the stag's kissers as he looked to the land and let his ebony pools graze over the land and they settled upon the stag. With a blink his pools were already moving on.
